Gifted Ireland Team Attend the 'Let Her In' 2025 Network in Portugal
On January 9 and 10, 2025, the Let Her In International Annual Conference was held in Setúbal, Portugal, with over 50 participants from 20 countries, and Gifted Ireland were delighted to be the only Irish organisation in attendance, and benefit greatly from the membership of this growing network.
Let Her In, is an international networking partnership for the exchange of good practice, knowledge and information exchange and partnership development including Erasmus+ and Creative Europe.
The event, hosted by one of the Let Her In Portuguese members, EduGep, included the General Assembly of the Network, where almost all member organisations were represented and able to discuss the future steps of the network and how we can grow together. Additionally, there was a networking event open also to non-members to encourage wider participation.
The event was filled with inspiring working sessions, open discussions, and expert panels focusing on nurturing international cooperation, social inclusion, gender equality, building partnerships for social impact, and promoting local communities across Europe.
All participants had the opportunity to engage in dynamic round table discussions on project ideas, sparking creativity and strengthening new partnerships. The participants also had the opportunity to learn about the exciting projects being developed by LHI members with opportunities to disseminate organisational work and opportunities currently available.
The event benefited fromthe participation of representatives from public authorities, universities, training centres, and a wide variety of civil society organisations, which enhanced the exchange of experiences and transfer of knowledge and innovation among all involved.
The event generated new ideas, challenges, and opportunities that reinforce our commitment to inclusion and innovation. It was a meeting rich in learning and collaborations that gave us renewed motivation to work toward a more inclusive and sustainable future. Through cross-border collaborations and a vibrant network of leaders and change agents, this event reinforced the power of cooperation.
We are already excited on how we can take things forward during 2025 and look forward to meeting opportunities this year, with planning already in place for Let Her In 2026.
